In recent years, habitat Planners has been involved in the preparation of spatial and urban plans for Nakuru County, Turkana County and Kajiado County. A number of associate consultants at Habitat planners have undertaken consultancy assignments in a number of other African countries including Djibouti, Rwanda, Uganda, Ethiopia, South Sudan, Tanzania, Zanzibar, Nigeria, Democratic Republic of Congo and Somaliland.
